$500,000 Judgment for teenager injured in ATV accident 

A 16-year-old young lady was a passenger on an ATV 3-wheeler while visiting a friend and was seriously injured when the ATV she was riding on hit a pothole at a high rate of speed and, as she was thrown from the ATV, her foot and ankle caught in the back wheel and entangled. After surgery and therapy, our client will live with scars on her lower leg for the rest of her life. Initially we were informed the homeowner's insurance carrier denied coverage for this incident, however, we were able to obtain a judgment for $500,000 and acceptance of liability.

Medication discontinuation takes man's life

Currently a case is pending in the Middle District Court of Florida on behalf the Estate of a 53-year-old gentleman that was under the care of his family doctor for treatment for pain in his lower left leg. The gentleman had been on a DVT medication that was vital to his livelihood; however, when his doctor began treating his leg he discontinued the medication, which ultimately caused him shortness of breath. Upon returning to the doctor three weeks later he was again, discharged without re-prescribing the DVT medication or further treatment - two days later he died. The case is still pending in Federal Court with a potential 7 figure settlement.
